Jeong Jeomgyo
An artist based at Togok Kiln in Gyeongsang, Korea. He continues to study and craft Korean ceramics.
1951: Born in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, Korea
1970: Begins to make ceramics
1975: Started researching Korean ceramics by collecting and researching pottery shards
1980: Opened "Togok Kiln" and reproduced Joseon tea bowls
1997: Solo exhibition at the Consulate-General of Korea in Osaka
1998: Solo exhibition at the Nomura Museum of Art, Kyoto
1999: Received recognition from Sen Soshu, 14th head master of Kankyuan ; Mushanokoji Senke.
2000: Solo exhibition at Nomura Museum of Art, Kyoto
2003: Solo exhibition at Kankyuan Tokyo Branch
